Let's start by asking, "What is a custom home?"
A custom home with C&B Construction is turning your ideas, your Pinterest boards, and your notebook drawings into something real. It's the flexibility to pursue what you desire and create a home on your terms.
There's often a stigma associated with custom homes that leads you to believe every square inch is custom-made and extravagantly expensive, which is a discouraging thought for most. But a custom home means the home is customized to your needs and can be much more economical than you may anticipate.
You get to choose where you spend your money. You can choose your own theme or have no theme at all. You can be conscious about resale or you can build the home you need right now.
To us, the true experience of building a custom home lies within our customer's freedom. And we can be as involved as you prefer. If you're dialed in on your layout, colors, and ideas then we encourage you to take the lead. But we're more than happy to offer suggestions if you're feeling stuck. Or we can present you with a whole design and go from there.

The process of building a custom home can be daunting and even a little frustrating at times, which is why we're always looking to stay ahead of the curve and make the process enjoyable and beneficial for everyone involved.
Our process starts with figuring out exactly what you're looking to build. This could take weeks or months depending on a lot of factors. If you choose C&B Construction as your designer, we work side-by-side with you to design everything you need in your home.
This starts with the actual design of the home from top to bottom. We take all of your needs into consideration with your budget and the building location. We work together through the floorplans, brainstorming and gathering accurate estimates from our subcontractors, and finalizing details for permits.
Once we have the permits, the building timeframe could be anywhere from 6-24+ months depending upon the scale of your project. These are things we will always be sure to talk about before we get too far into the process. Building in the current day continues to provide new challenges and obstacles but we're doing everything we can to stay on top of them.
Throughout the build, you will be responsible for the vast majority of the decision-making. We will comply with local and state building codes, but from there, your approval is needed for every detail no matter the size.
