3D Design & Plans
Make no mistake, we do not claim to be architects and we currently do not offer these services to the open market. We invested in a deeper and more thoughtful design process so you can feel more comfortable working directly with the team who will be present at your project overseeing it from start to finish.
This much freedom allows for a whole new level of personalization to your home. You can send us your ideas and we can brainstorm together at a more efficient pace, discussing options suitable to your project.
The 3D renderings we can produce help our customers visualize the outside AND the inside of the home, something that standard architectural prints can't provide. We can change the colors of your exterior with the click of a button and make live changes together while sitting at the same table.
Check out the some of the capabilities of our 3D designs above. Our goal to continue to learn and grow also includes our limitations with computer-assisted design work. The more we learn and challenge ourselves before we start building, the more efficient we can make the process.
If you aren't comfortable with C&B Construction handling 100% of the design, you are more than welcome to work with a licensed architect and/or engineer so we can work together to create your dream home!
Smaller projects like a bathroom remodel don't necessarily require these services as they don't usually require full architectural prints to obtain permits. Smaller projects also qualify for free estimates so we'll never charge to meet with you and discuss your potential projects. And while we may not necessarily need any design work done, we're happy to whip up a quick rendering for you.*
Our full-service, permit-ready design services do come with a fee that is included in our cost to build. Working through the preliminary stages together is still free but the time included to produce a full construction set and the reimbursement for the printing will be billed out after construction has started. This cost is accounted for in our custom home budgets and contributes to the price per square foot you may have been quoted.*
*Once a design threshold of 2 hours is met, we may insist you sign our Design Disclosure agreeing to compensate C&B Construction in the event the project is not followed through to completion. Designs incurring less than 2 hours of design are free unless stated otherwise. All working hours are verified within the software's time tracker.
